The HPCH Board of Directors provide exemplary supervision and management of the Home's operation by such methods as regularly scheduled appraisals of the Executive Director's performance and prudent review and approval of all fund disbursements, including regular review of all budget preparation and fundraising practices. The Board honors its fiduciary responsibility to HPCH donors and implements a conflict of interest policy in conjunction with approval of accounting procedures sufficient to safeguard charity finances. The Board is composed of eight members with a minimum voting quorum of five. The Board meets quarterly each year. None of the Board members are compensated for their volunteer service to the organization. The Board assesses at each meeting the organization's performance and effectiveness and determines future actions required to achieve the Home's mission.
